πŸ”„TradeStaSwap Application

Introduction πŸ’‘

The Swap module is a non-custodial ERC20 token swap system designed for Ethereum and other EVM-compatible blockchains. It's focused on delivering a unique experience with features like fixed price slippage, gas fee savings, and batch systems for optimized gas usage, including token rebates.

On a technical level, it's built as an extension of the Withdrawal smart contract, letting users delegate funds to the same contract for swapping tokens and accessing other STA protocol services. This module enables even unregistered users to perform swaps, using the same withdrawal process for both swapping and payments.

Swap process ⛓️

The swap process is a two-phase operation designed to facilitate the exchange of cryptocurrency assets. These phases are executed as follows:

First Phase - User Wallet to Tradesta’s Beneficiary Wallet:

In the initial phase, previously approved funds are transferred from the user's wallet to the designated beneficiary wallet. This transfer is accomplished using delegation and account abstraction. Notably, these swap transfers can be efficiently batched together with payment transfers, optimizing transaction costs and maximising the revenue generated to share with STA token holders.

Second Phase - Treasury Wallet to User Wallet:

The subsequent phase involves moving funds from an on-chain treasury wallet to the user's on-chain wallet. Similar to the first phase, these transfers are also capable of being batched, streamlining the process further making a swap more efficient, simple and cost efficient for both TradeSta and user.

Both phases of the swap process are initiated and managed by TradeSta. TradeStaSwap will utilizes the separate Delegation application to initiate and oversee these transactions. This ensures a secure and efficient exchange process for users.
